Mahjong online is a solitaire game where you play against your time to improve your speed.  Take the time to read the descriptions of the tiles at the bottom of the page and don't hesitate to use the help button until you figure is out.
Have fun!

My body is having a bit of trouble adjusting to the sun setting at 10:05 p.m. here in Aberdeen.
Don't get me wrong, I love the long daylight hours, but I am staying up much later...
because, by the time I realize it it 10:05 p.m. my brain still needs its winding down time which has usually unwound by 10:00 p.m.
Anyway, I am waking up a bit groggy in the mornings...
so this morning I went in search of a brain exercise program...
and I found...
Lumosity, reclaim your brain!

You can actually set up a program to work the areas of your brain that need to be whipped into shape just like a body work out.
My favorite is the bird watching game,
although, they set up your workout
so I don't know if you get a choice.
Check it out, reclaim your brain!

Sunday morning, we woke to a fabulous breakfast which sustained us for our voyage aboard the Jacobite Spirit...
around the Loch Ness...
Loch being the Scottish word for lake, and this lake happens to be 23 miles long and 230 metres down to the bottom...

which gives the Loch Ness monster plenty of room to hide...

The Loch Ness monster, or Nessie as she is known around here often shows up around the Urquhart Castle which you can see in the distance...
a huge cave has been found near this castle where the loch's water is the deepest...

built in the 1230's, The Urquhart Castle is one of the largest castles in Scotland...

No sign of Nessie today...

I have my theories about what people keep seeing in the waters of the Loch Ness...

This looks very suspicious and would be quite scary on a dark, misty night out on the loch...

I remain completely puzzled by The Loch Ness monster...

Start your new year off with a great mind expander and help feed the hungry at the same time.  Yes, you can help put a bowl of nutritious rice in the hands of someone in another country.  I would encourage you to start a group at FreeRice.com and see just how much rice you can provide.  You WILL need to use your brain to feed the hungry.
